Originally, Hyrum Dam Cam consisted of a single camera and was intended to be accessed and enjoyed privately. The view was too great not to share, however, and this website was built as a means for others to access and enjoy it too.
The Hyrum Dam Cam "project" has gradually grown and now utilizes a total of six cameras to provide views from all around the lake. Thanks to gracious homeowners that are willing to share their view, people everywhere can see the Dam anytime they like.
The cameras are network based and thus require an internet connection. This connection is achieved by means of fiber optic and wireless technologies. To get a camera of your own installed, or for more information, please feel free to contact me at HyrumDamCam@gmail.com.
